Growing traffic wasn't converting into bookings. Three compounding issues stood in the way: no tracking infrastructure to see the sales funnel and diagnose drop-off, a mobile performance ceiling the old WordPress/Elementor site couldn't overcome, and a page structure that informed visitors rather than guiding them to book — particularly costly given how much of Hopscotch's audience is US-based and browsing on mobile.
A full migration from WordPress/Elementor to Webflow, sequenced deliberately: tracking first so every subsequent change could be measured, speed second so visitors stayed long enough to see the page, and conversion architecture third so the visitors who stayed were guided to book. We rebuilt the CMS structure and every tour page around the booking decision, integrated Bokun for live availability, added dedicated travel-agent landing pages, and migrated 200+ existing items with full 301 redirect mapping to protect the SEO equity already built.
Within the first 30 days live, active users were up 252% and total engagement events rose 164%, with the new tracking finally showing what's working. Bounce rate fell from 94% to 70% and is still dropping, a direct result of the faster, mobile-first build and a page structure built around the booking decision rather than just information.
